NEW YORK – With a 4-0 win over Xavier on Saturday, Georgetown was named the regular-season champions and will serve as the No. 1 seed in the 2025 BIG EAST Women's Soccer Championship presented by JEEP.

The Hoyas secured their fourth regular-season title in the last five years, improving to 14-2-2 overall and 10-0 in conference play. Xavier earned the No. 2 spot in the tournament as they finished the regular season 8-1-1 in conference play.

UConn (11-3-3, 7-1-2 BE) clinched the No. 3 seed while Creighton (7-7-4, 4-3-3 BE) locked up the No. 4 seed following a win over St. John’s. 

Postseason play begins on Thursday, Nov. 6, with No. 3 UConn versus No. 2 Xavier at 5 p.m., followed by No. 4 Creighton versus No. 1 Georgetown at 7:30 p.m.

The semifinal winners will advance to the title match on Sunday, Nov. 9, at noon. All three games will be played at the Maryland SoccerPlex and will stream live on ESPN+.

The winner of the BIG EAST Championship will earn the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
