The Pirates overcame a 42-point explosion by Fordham’s Alexis Black to secure a double overtime win and improve to 4-0 on the season. Mariana Valenzuela led Seton Hall with 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting from the field, while Savannah Catalon finished the night with 20 points, eight rebounds and three assists in 47 minutes on the court. Catalon forced overtime with a pair of free throws at the end of regulation.

Northern Iowa 51, at Creighton 50

Elizabeth Gentry scored 10 points to lead the offense for the Bluejays in a setback against Northern Iowa Thursday night. Grace Boffeli had a team-high 10 rebounds, while Kendall McGee posted nine points. Creighton outscored Northern Iowa 15-8 in the second quarter to take a 32-22 lead into the halftime break.

#1 UConn and #6 Michigan will meet for the first time on the hardwood on Friday, November 21, as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase at Mohegan Sun.
