Lily Zeinstra led Butler with 13 points on 50% shooting from the field. Saniya Jackson and Addison Baxter both registered 12 points apiece. Caroline Dotsey chipped in 10 points and a team-high six rebounds. The Bulldogs forced 20 turnovers and converted them into 32 points. After both teams scored 11 points each in the first frame, Butler outscored Milwaukee in both the second (23-10) and third (22-10) quarters.

Four players finished with double-digit point totals, led by Azzi Fudd with 24 points. Fudd went 9-for-11 from the field, 4-for-4 from deep and 2-for-2 from the line, to go with a career-high eight rebounds and two assists. Blanca Quiñonez finished with a season-high 21 points in 18 minutes of work. Sarah Strong recorded her sixth-straight game this season in double figures with 15 points to go along with four boards, four assists, two blocks, and two steals. Allie Ziebell pitched in a season-high 10 points. UConn held Utah to five points in the third quarter, while going on a 15-0 run.
