BIG EAST Men's Basketball Begins 2025-26 With Nine-Game Slate

NEW YORK - BIG EAST Men's Basketball begins the 2025-26 season on Monday, Nov. 3 with a slate of nine games.

Preseason favorite and defending regular season and tournament champion St. John's opens up at home against Quinnipiac from Carnesecca Arena at 6:30 p.m. ET.  Jason Benetti and Bill Raftery have the call on FS1.

Seven games will stream live on ESPN+ as part of the league's new six-year digital media rights agreement.  ESPN and the BIG EAST Conference have a relationship that spans more than three decades. The BIG EAST signed its first national television deal with ESPN in 1980, beginning a partnership that ran through 2013.  A total of 40 non-conference men's basketball matchups will stream live on ESPN+ this season, beginning with tonight's slate of games.

BIG EAST Opening Night concludes with a neutral-site matchup in Las Vegas featuring Villanova and BYU at T-Mobile Arena.  The game is part of the Hall of Fame series and tips at 9:30 p.m. ET.  Brian Anderson and Grant Hill will call the action for TNT.
