Butler saw four players score double figures in the team’s season-opening 74-53 win over Wright State. Lily Zeinstra led the Bulldogs with 14 points, followed by Nevaeh Jackson (13), Saniya Jackson (12), and Anna Wypych (11).  Saniya added six steals while Addison Baxter dished a team-leading eight assists to go with six rebounds and six points. Butler forced 16 turnovers and shot 45.6 percent from the field. 
 
at Marquette 89, Winthrop 57

Jaidynn Mason paced the team with 25 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals in Marquette’s 89-57 victory versus Winthrop. Skylar Forbes scored 19 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field. Halle Vice finished with a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds). 
 
at St. John’s 68, LeMoyne 53 
Box Score
Brooke Moore led St. John’s with 15 points in the 68-53 win against LeMoyne. Moore added eight rebounds, four blocks, and two assists to her stat line. Daniela Abies recorded a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. With the win, the Johnnies have won nine straight home openers.

Kennedy Henry (13), Brooke Bender (12), Kelsey Joens (11) and Jasmine Bascoe (10) scored double digits for Villanova in the 70-38 win over Lafayette. Henry was 4-of-7 from three-point range. The Wildcats headed into the fourth quarter leading by 36 points.
