MBB Minute – The BIG EAST was 4-0 during Friday's action, highlighted by Georgetown successfully renewing its rivalry with Maryland, 70-60, in College Park.  No. 4/4 UConn won in historic fashion in Hartford, while Seton Hall and DePaul each moved to 2-0 on the season.

Georgetown 70, Maryland 60 - Box Score
Malik Mack scored a team-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Georgetown.  The Hoyas scored the first 11 points of the game and never trailed in the win. KJ Lewis added 16 points, nine boards, and three assists, while Caleb Williams chipped in with a double-double (14 point/10 rebounds).
 
Seton Hall 68, Wagner 61 - Box Score
Elijah Fisher scored a game-high 21 points and grabbed six rebounds in a win over Wagner.  TJ Simpkins added 15 points and Adam "Budd" Clark 11, while Stephon Payne III grabbed 10 rebounds including five on the offensive glass.  The game was played on campus at Walsh Gymnasium.
 
DePaul 72, Stonehill 64 - Box Score
CJ Gunn poured in a career-high-28 points for 2-0 DePaul.  He made 10-of-12 from the free throw line, while adding six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.  NJ Benson logged his second double-double in as many games, finishing with 16 points and 10 boards to go with a career-high six blocks. 
 
UConn 110, UMass Lowell 47 - Box Score
Seven Huskies scored in double-digits, led by Tarris Reed Jr. who made his season debut with 20 points, 12 boards, and four blocks. Silas Demary Jr. added 16 points, seven assists, and four steals.  The Huskies posted the program's largest halftime lead - 47 points - en route to the 63 point win.

Saturday's slate features four games, beginning with a noon-time tip with two nationally ranked teams, as No. 5/6 St. John's hosts No. 15/16 Alabama at Madison Square Garden.  Dave Sims and Donny Marshall will call the action live on FS1.
 
Providence takes on Virginia Tech in the Hall of Fame Tipoff at Mohegan Sun Arena.  John Fanta and Tim Welsh have the broadcast call on Peacock, beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
 
Butler hosts IU Indianapolis at Hinkle Fieldhouse at 5 p.m. ET, while Villanova hosts Queens at 7 p.m. ET.  Both contests can be seen live on ESPN+.
