Seven Butler players reached double figures, finishing its non-conference slate with a convincing win over NJIT. Michael Ajayi posted his 10th double-double of the season, tallying 15 points and 12 rebounds en route to reaching the 1,000-point mark for his career. The Bulldogs scored the first 17 points of the game and led by as many as 51 in the closing minutes. Drayton Jones had 14 points, while Evan Haywood added 13 points (four 3-pointers). Efeosa Oliogu-Elabor (13), Finley Bizjack (11), Yohan Traore (11), and Stink Robinson (10) rounded out the double-digit scoring efforts.

Isaiah Abraham had 17 points and Jayden Fort 15 - career-bests in the scoring column for both - as Georgetown dominated Coppin State at McDonough Gym. Abraham made 6-of-7 shots from the floor, including 5-of-6 from the perimeter. Fort made all five of his field goal attempts. Georgetown scored the first eight points of the game en route to an 18-3 lead less than seven minutes in. After a 53-25 lead at the break, the Hoyas built as much as a 36-point advantage. Julius Halaifonua led the Hoyas with 20 points and eight rebounds.

The Bluejays won their third straight, going wire-to-wire to close out non-conference play with a win over Utah Tech. CU sprinted to a 17-5 lead in the first five minutes and never trailed, Four players tallied double-digits, led by Austin Swartz's 19 points, making 5-of-9 attempts from beyond the arc. Josh Dix posted a full stat line of 17 points, six boards, five assists, and a career-high five steals. The Jays registered 23 assists on 34 field goals, including 13 made 3-pointers.

Tuesday's action begins at 6:30 p.m. ET, as St. John's closes out non-conference play against Harvard , followed by one of the top games in the country so far this season, as 9-2 Villanova visits 11-1 Seton Hall. It marks the return of former Hall head coach Kevin Willard, now on the sidelines with the Wildcats in a battle between two of the nation's top offensive and defensive squads. Head coach Shaheen Holloway and his Seton Hall squad has won five straight and is 7-0 at home.

Beginning in 2025-26, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games in the sports of men's and women's basketball.
