Lops and Faith Masonius each had 12 points and eight rebounds for Seton Hall (22-8), which missed its first 11 shots of the game and trailed by 12 points in the first quarter. Aizhanique Mayo, Meri Kanerva and Irune Orio had eight points each for Xavier (7-24). Seton Hall didn't take its first lead until 1:41 remained when Lops had a steal and a layup. Seton Hall faces No. 2 seed Creighton in the second semifinal on Sunday.
