NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference announced its 2025-26 women’s basketball schedule on Friday. Dates and matchups have been released, while game times and television information will be announced at a later date.
The BIG EAST will play a 20-game conference schedule that includes 110 games in a double round-robin format.
The upcoming season marks the first of a six-year media agreement, which will span from 2025-26 through 2030-31, encompassing coverage on FOX Sports (FOX, FS1), NBC Sports (NBC, Peacock), and TNT Sports (TNT, TBS, truTV and Max). The agreement will provide major national broadcast, cable, and direct-to-consumer streaming coverage of BIG EAST women’s and men’s basketball games. ESPN+ will also stream a minimum of 75 women’s basketball games.
Conference play will begin on Nov. 30 with the defending national champion, UConn at Xavier. On Jan. 11, Creighton welcomes the Huskies to town in a rematch of the 2025 BIG EAST Championship Game. Six teams ring in the New Year with three games on Jan. 1; Creighton at Villanova, DePaul at St. John’s and Marquette at Xavier.
Wednesday, Feb. 4 features UConn at DePaul to celebrate the conference’s annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day initiative.
The regular season ends on March 1 with five games – DePaul at Georgetown, Creighton at Xavier, UConn at St. John’s, Seton Hall at Butler, and Marquette at Providence.
The 2026 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP returns to Mohegan Sun Arena for a sixth straight year. Peacock will stream all 10 of the tournament games.
Each of the BIG EAST’s 11 schools will announce their full individual schedules separately.
