BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Campbell McKinnon, So., MB, Villanova
McKinnon hit a BIG EAST best .580 to lead Villanova past a trio of reigning conference champions at the Villanova Classic. The tournament MVP registered 19 kills at a .452 clip with two blocks and a pair of aces in a five-set victory over Yale. She followed this performance with 13 kills and five blocks on .611 hitting versus Fairfield (W, 3-1). McKinnon concluded the weekend with 17 kills on .750 hitting as the ‘Cats defeated High Point, 3-1, to lock in the team’s best start since 2009 (5-0).

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
McKenna Brand, So., DS/L, UConn
Brand logged a league-leading 4.92 digs per set as UConn picked up three victories to continue an undefeated start to the 2025 campaign (6-0). In a 3-1 victory over South Dakota, the sophomore notched 21 digs with seven assists and two aces. Versus Ball State (W, 3-1), Brand contributed 20 digs, five assists, and one ace. She concluded the weekend with 18 digs, two assists, and an ace in a 3-1 win over Colgate.

BIG EAST Setter of the Week
Macy Hatkevich, Jr., S, Xavier
Hatkevich led all BIG EAST setters with 9.92 assists per set to power the Musketeers to a 3-0 weekend at the Xavier Tournament. The junior contributed 31 assists, six digs, and two kills versus IU Indy (W, 3-1) before enjoying a career day with 56 assists, 10 digs, four kills, two blocks, and an ace in a 3-2 win over Miami (Ohio). She concluded the weekend with 42 assists, six digs, five kills, and an ace versus Eastern Kentucky (W, 3-1).

BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
McKinley Boehm, RS-Fr., Xavier
Boehm contributed 19 total blocks, averaging 1.46 per set, as Xavier moved to 6-0 on the season for the Musketeers’ best start since 2007. Versus IU Indy, she logged seven total blocks while notching five kills. Against Miami (Ohio), the red-shirt freshman contributed a career-high nine blocks with five kills. She wrapped the weekend with nine kills and three blocks at a .600 clip against Eastern Kentucky. Through the first two weeks of play, Boehm leads the BIG EAST with 1.46 blocks per set.

Doga Kutlu, Gr., S, UConn
Kutlu averaged 9.33 assists, 3.08 digs, and 1.08 kills per set as UConn enjoyed an undefeated weekend at the Top Dogs Challenge.
Emma Werkmeister, Sr., OH, UConn
Werkmeister contributed 4.27 kills, 5.17 points, and 2.00 digs per set on .246 hitting as the Huskies surpassed South Dakota, Ball State, and Colgate.
Sophia Adkins, So., OH, Providence
Adkins averaged 4.27 kills and 2.36 digs per set on .262 hitting as Providence picked up a pair of victories at the Rhode Island Challenge. She also contributed six total assists and four total blocks.
Hadley Pride, RS-Sr., DS, Providence
Pride logged 4.64 digs and 1.13 assists per set at the Rhode Island Challenge. She added eight aces over the course of the weekend. The redshirt senior currently leads the BIG EAST with 4.65 digs per set.
Emma Grace, RS-Sr., OH/DS, Xavier
Grace had a standout weekend for the undefeated Musketeers, contributing a trio of double doubles at the Xavier Tournament to average 4.54 kills, 4.08 digs, and 4.92 points per set. The tournament MVP particularly excelled versus Miami (Ohio), registering a career-best 23 kills with 27 digs.
