SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to the impending winter weather throughout the BIG EAST footprint, tipoff for today's game featuring St. John's at Xavier has been moved forward one hour to 1:30 p.m. ET.
The game will air in its entirety on truTV - and will stream on HBO Max - beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET. TNT will join the game in progress at the conclusion of Georgetown at Providence.

In the lone action for the BIG EAST on Friday night, Finley Bizjack poured in 28 points for Butler as the Bulldogs raced past Marquette at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Finley Bizjack poured in 28 points and keyed a late run that sealed the game for Butler on Friday night against Marquette. The junior guard added five rebounds and four assists in the win. The Bulldogs held a two-point lead (74-72) with 4:20 to play before the junior guard scored five points during a 7-0 run that put the game out of reach. Butler led for much of the first half, but several Marquette runs kept it close. Holding a 41-36 halftime lead, a Bizjack 3-pointer pushed the lead to 11 for the Dawgs with 13:46 to play. A Chase Ross layup capped an 11-4 push by the Golden Eagles midway through the period, making it a one-point game (64-63). For Butler, Michael Ajayi narrowly missed his 14th double-double, with 17 points and nine boards. Jamie Kaiser Jr. and Drayton Jones each had 11. For the Golden Eagles, Ross and Nigel James Jr. led the way with 15 points apiece. James added eight assists and four rebounds. Royce Parham added 14.
Of Note:
- Finley Bizjack's 28-point performance was one off his season-high and marked his third straight game with at least 24 for Butler. He is connecting on 57.1% (20-35) of his shot attempts, including 11-of-22 from the perimeter, during the span - all wins for Butler.
- Nigel James Jr. reached double figures for his 10th straight game - all in BIG EAST play. The freshman guard is averaging 19.6 points per game in conference play - tops in the league. Bizjack (19.0 ppg) is second.

Today's Action: There are four games set for Saturday, beginning with a pair of games at 12:30 p.m. ET as Villanova visits UConn (FOX), while Georgetown heads to Providence (TNT/truTV).

BIG EAST Men's Basketball Public Availability Reports: Beginning in 2025-26, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games in the sports of men's and women's basketball.
Men's Basketball Availability Report
BIG EAST schools will be required to submit availability reports three hours before the scheduled tipoff time. Under the reporting structure, players will be designated as "questionable" or "out." Availability reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season.
