BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Avrie Nelsen, Villanova, So., F
Nelsen contributed to two of Villanova's three goals in the team’s 2-0 week. The sophomore logged an assist on Kaydee Amorosa's goal at Creighton to give Villanova a 1-0 lead en route to a 2-1 victory. She then scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Georgetown.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Gemma Gillespie, Butler, Jr. D
Gillespie anchored a defense that produced a 0-0 shutout at Seton Hall. She then tallied a brace, scoring Butler’s second goal and the game-winner in the 3-2 victory over DePaul.
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Hannah Dickinson, Villanova, Gr., GK
Dickinson improved to 8-0-3 on the year with back-to-back wins, while allowing just one goal on the week. She made a season-high four saves in both victories over Creighton and Georgetown. The 1-0 triumph over the Hoyas marked her sixth solo clean sheet of the year.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Mia Hurd, Marquette, Fr., GK
Hurd recorded four saves to help the Golden Eagles earn a 0-0 draw at Georgetown. Hurd was particularly strong in the second half, making three saves as the Hoyas generated 16 shots after halftime. Georgetown finished the match with a 24-1 advantage in shots and 11 corner kicks, but Hurd and the Marquette defense held firm to secure the shutout.

Chloe Shimkin, Georgetown, Jr., F
Shimkin scored the game-winning goal in the 67th minute off an assist from Anaya Johnson against Providence.
Julianna Bivona, St. John’s, Jr., D
Bivona helped the Red Storm withstand 31 combined shots while allowing just eight attempts on target as they held UConn and Creighton scoreless.
Kayla Bower, St. John’s, Gr., GK
Bower was perfect in goal across the Red Storm’s two-match week, posting back-to-back clean sheets in scoreless draws against UConn and Creighton. The graduate student stopped all eight shots on goal, recording five saves against the Huskies and three against the Bluejays. Her pair of shutouts marked her fourth and fifth of the season, surpassing her previous single-season career high of four set in 2025.
Meredith Palmer, Villanova, Jr., D
Palmer continues to be a steady presence in the Wildcats' backline. She was part of a Villanova defense that allowed just one goal on the week, coming in a 2-1 win at Creighton. Palmer then helped Villanova log its eighth clean sheet of the season in a 1-0 victory over Georgetown.
McKinley Berry, Xavier, Jr., D
Berry played 86 minutes in Xavier’s 1-1 draw against DePaul, helping limit the Blue Demons to just two looks on-frame. In Xavier’s 2-0 win over Seton Hall, Berry played 76 minutes, helping limit SHU to just three shots on-frame on the way to Xavier's fifth shutout of the season. She also knocked in a goal in the first half against Seton Hall, her second of the season and third as a Musketeer.
