To the BIG EAST Community:

I wanted to send a note to express my gratitude and my congratulations to the entire BIG EAST community for the overwhelming success you all achieved on Media Day last week.

To the BIG EAST staff, who hosted all our VIP guests, thank you for your presence and input in planning the event. I must tell you that your organization and execution went above and beyond.

Thanks to our AD’s, SWAs, and of course, our especially spectacular student-athletes (and all of your support staff who remained on campus) for your input in and planning for Media Day.

Thank you to our Coaches, who gave us your valuable time and consideration when I know the pressure to prepare for the upcoming season is high.

To our television partners — you all surpassed our greatest expectations! The live shows on Peacock looked amazing and the storytelling by all of you will serve the Conference well going into the season.

Finally, to all the media – including all the student media - thank you for spending the day with us. I thoroughly enjoyed getting the chance to meet and speak with many of you for the first time. I look forward to continuing our conversations.

You made us all proud BIG EAST family! Now let’s get started on Nov. 1 in Rome - good luck Villanova! - and then onto our respective journeys through March and into April!
