BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Chloe Bell, So., MB, St. John’s
Bell contributed 3.20 kills per set while hitting a massive .505 as the Red Storm went 1-1 on the road. In a five-set victory over Butler, the sophomore logged 14 kills on a match-best .478 hitting. She also posted four total blocks on the night. Versus Xavier, Bell contributed a career-best and match-high 18 kills on .533 hitting and tacked on three total blocks.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Jersey Loyer, Jr., DS, Butler
Loyer led the league with 5.88 digs per set as the Bulldogs rebounded from a five-set loss against St. John’s to sweep Seton Hall. Versus the Red Storm, she logged a career-high 27 digs with two assists and an ace. Against the Pirates, Loyer registered a match-high 20 digs, marking the eighth 20-dig performance of her career.
BIG EAST Setter of the Week
Isabella Sohl, Fr., S, UConn
Sohl recorded a conference-leading 11.56 assists per set to lead the Huskies to a 2-0 weekend with victories over Villanova and Georgetown. The freshman registered 42 assists against Villanova before recording a season-high 62 assists against Georgetown. On the weekend, she also added 11 digs, four kills, three blocks, and an ace.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Luanna Markus, Fr., S, Marquette
Markus directed Marquette to a 1-1 mark this weekend, directing the offense with 9.38 assists/set, 3.50 digs/set, 1.00 kills/set, and 1.00 blocks/set while hitting .467. She posted a double-double in a five-set loss to Creighton with 43 assists and 24 digs, adding on five blocks and a pair of kills. In a sweep of DePaul, she totaled 32 assists, six kills on .500 hitting, four digs, and three blocks.

Sydney Borowy, Fr., OH, UConn
Borowy averaged 3.56 kills per set on .365 hitting as UConn defeated Villanova (3-1) and UConn (3-2). The freshman tallied 14 kills against Villanova then a team-high 18 kills against Georgetown.
Saige Damrow, Sr., DS, Creighton
Damrow averaged 4.78 digs per set to help Creighton defeat Marquette (3-2) and DePaul (3-1) on the road. She recorded match-high performances in both outings, logging 29 digs against the Golden Eagles and 14 digs versus the Blue Demons. Her efforts helped Creighton hold opponents to a league-low .119 hitting percentage last week.
Aubrey Easterwood, Fr., MB, Providence
Easterwood totaled 20 kills on .417 hitting as Providence enjoyed an undefeated weekend with victories over Georgetown (3-1) and Villanova (3-1). She registered a career-high 13 kills versus the Hoyas. On the week, the rookie led the league in service aces with six.
Carola Tesoro, Fr., OH, SJU
Tesoro notched a pair of double-doubles in a 1-1 week. In a 3-2 win over Butler, the rookie recorded a match-best 19 kills with 12 digs. Against Xavier, she contributed 14 kills with 15 digs and a pair of aces.
Charlotte Moriarty, Jr., OH, Xavier
Moriarty averaged 4.00 kills, 4.38 points, and 4.88 digs per set as Xavier went 2-0 with victories over St. John’s (3-2) and Seton Hall (3-1). Versus the Red Storm, the junior logged a team-best 16 kills and 26 digs. Against the Pirates, she posted a match-best 20 kills with 23 digs.
