Janeya Grant and Brooke Moore scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Johnnies. Jailah Donald dished out a season-high five steals. Sabou Gueye had a game-high 18 points, along with six rebounds, two assists, and two steals for Providence. Orlagh Gormley contributed 10 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. The Friars trimmed St. John’s 18-point lead to just six with 90 seconds remaining, holding the Johnnies scoreless for 3:53 during their rally. Donald sealed the victory with a free throw with 13 seconds left. St. John’s took the regular-season series.

Jasmine Bascoe led the Wildcats with a game-high 27 points, including 16 in the first half, to go with five assists and two steals. Ryanne Allen finished with 17 points on 5-for-6 shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds.  DePaul got 14 points from Devin Hagemann, followed by 10 from Natiah Nelson. Villanova scored 11 of the first 13 points to take a 31-17 advantage in the second quarter, while DePaul was held to just five points. DePaul’s Kate Novik cut the Wildcats’ lead to 58-52 with a three-pointer with 4:27 left in the game. Villanova put the game away with four points from Bascoe with just over two minutes left. Villanova swept the regular-season series.

BIG EAST to Provide Public Availability Reports for Men's and Women's Basketball
Beginning in the 2025-26 season, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games for men's and women's basketball. BIG EAST schools will be required to submit these reports three hours before the scheduled tipoff. Under this reporting system, players will be designated as "questionable" or "out.” Availability reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season. Women's Basketball Availability Reports
