Kate Novik registered her fourth double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Blue Demons. Novik went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line, including going 4-for-4 in the fourth quarter. Natiah Nelson finished with 13 points on 60% shooting while Devin Hagemann had 12 points and five assists. Michelle Ojo chipped in 11 points, seven rebounds, four steals and two blocks. The win marked DePaul’s 1,000th program victory, as the team shot a season-high 93 percent from the charity stripe. The two teams traded baskets in the fourth quarter. DePaul had a 68-64 lead with 1:05 left and extended it to 70-64 on a layup by Ojo with 30 seconds left. Hagemann hit a pair of free throws to seal the 72-68 win. St. John’s had three double-digit scorers: Beautiful Waheed (20), Brooke Moore (17), and Sa’Mya Wyatt (16). Waheed shot 50% from the field and added five rebounds, while Wyatt contributed six rebounds and three assists.

This Week in BIG EAST Play
Wednesday night features four games, starting with Villanova at Xavier at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN+. UConn hosts Creighton on Peacock, while Butler heads to Providence on ESPN+, both at 7 p.m. Marquette welcomes Seton Hall for a 7:30 p.m. start on ESPN+. The weekend schedule includes five contests spread across Saturday and Sunday. 

BIG EAST to Provide Public Availability Reports for Men's and Women's Basketball
Beginning in the 2025-26 season, the BIG EAST Conference will provide public reports on the availability of student-athletes in conference games for men's and women's basketball. BIG EAST schools will be required to submit these reports three hours before the scheduled tipoff. Under this reporting system, players will be designated as "questionable" or "out.” Availability reports will be posted on the BIG EAST website throughout the 2025-26 season. Women's Basketball Availability Reports
