New Poll, Same Ranking
The UConn Huskies were named the unanimous No. 1 in the AP Top 25 poll for a sixth straight week, announced Monday afternoon. The Huskies are the lone undefeated women’s team in the country at 27-0. Head Coach Geno Auriemma has led the Huskies to 654 appearances in the poll during his 41-year career to match Tara VanDerveer for most all-time, who retired from Stanford in 2024.
A Perfect Game
Seton Hall sophomore guard Ja’Kahla Craft had one of the best scoring performances in Seton Hall history in the 96-72 win versus DePaul. She played a perfect game, breaking Seton Hall's single-game record for efficiency with a minimum of 10 attempts by going 11-for-11 from the field, including 4-for-4 from three-point range. She finished with a game-high 26 points, which doubled her previous career-high in scoring. She also had four rebounds in the all-time performance.
