Sarah Strong stuffed the stat sheet in 19 minutes of work, posting 14 points on 6-of-9 shooting, as well as dishing out five assists, pulling down six boards and swiping away two steals. KK Arnold contributed 12 points, six assists and three steals. DePaul was led by Kate Novik and Michelle Ojo, as each tallied 10 points. Novik added five assists, nine rebounds and three steals in the outing. The Huskies raced out to a 31-10 opening quarter to secure the team’s 19
th straight win by at least 25 points, the longest streak by a Division I team over the past 25 years.

After a back and forth opening half that saw the Musketeers hold a slight 30-29 advantage, it was the Red Storm who took over the second half and secure a 71-52 victory. St. John’s outscored Xavier 42-22 in the second half shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent from 3-point range in the final 20 minutes. Beautiful Waheed and Brooke Moore led the Red Storm with 14 points apiece, while Moore and Jailah Donold each handed out five assists. Xavier’s Mariyah Noel led all players with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Xavier never trailed in the first half and led by as many as 10 points (26-16) with 5:45 left in the second quarter. St. John’s closed the stanza on a 13-4 run.

Jasmine Bascoe led Villanova to a road victory at Hinkle Fieldhouse, pouring in 27 points and dishing out five assists. The opening stanza was a defensive battle, with neither team able to open-up more than a five-point lead, and both teams shooting below 40 percent. The Bulldogs held a 28-24 advantage through the first 20 minutes, limiting the Wildcats to just 9-of-35 shooting from the field. Villanova’s offense, led by Bascoe, heated up in the third quarter after taking a 41-39 lead with 2:12 to play. Bascoe ran off a personal 5-0 run to open-up the lead to 46-39 off a pair of free throws and a step-back three, as Villanova closed out the third with a 48-41 lead they would not look back on. Butler was paced by McKenna Jones with 16 points.

Freshman Neleigh Gessert delivered 31 points, while Grace Boffeli grabbed 17 rebounds to lift Creighton to a two-point win over Georgetown. With the Bluejays holding a 60-59 lead with just under two minutes remaining, Georgetown's Brianna Byers sank a 3-pointer to go back in front. Boffeli was then left all alone as the Hoyas went to double team Gessert, resulting in a tie game at 62-62 (1:21). After multiple defensive stops, Creighton received an inbounds opportunity with 6.8 seconds remaining. Boffeli received the ball at the top of the arc and faked a pass before driving into the paint for the game-winning layup. Destiny Agubata led the Hoyas with 21 points and eight rebounds, while Brianna Scott added 17 points.

Skylar Forbes, Lee Volker and Halle Vice combined for 56 points to lead the Golden Eagles to a win at home against Providence. Forbes broke out for a team-high 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting, while Bolker added 19 points. Vice chimed in with her third straight double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Back-and-forth throughout the opening quarter, Marquette began to assert itself in the second after leading by just one through 10 minutes. Volker and Vice scored five each during a 12-0 run that spanned three minutes and gave the Golden Eagles a 36-23 with four minutes remaining in the half. After Providence ended its scoreless drought with 2:45 on the clock, Bridget Utberg answered with a triple from the wing. The Golden Eagles held a 44-29 lead at the break. Coming off the bench for Providence, Teneisia Brown scored a game-high 24 points on 11-of-21 shooting.
