NEW YORK – The bracket for the 2026 BIG EAST Women’s Basketball Tournament presented by JEEP was finalized on Sunday night following the St. John’s-UConn game.
The BIG EAST Tournament is set for March 6-9 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. All 11 teams qualify for the conference postseason, with the top five teams in the final regular-season standings receiving first-round byes. The winner of the BIG EAST Tournament receives the league’s automatic bid into the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
Action tips off on March 6 with the BIG EAST Tournament First Round. No. 8 seed Georgetown will face No. 9 seed Butler at 11 a.m. ET, followed by No. 7 seed Providence against No. 10 seed DePaul at 1:30 p.m. Day one closes out at 4 p.m. when No. 6 seed St. John’s tips off against No. 11 seed Xavier.
The winner of the Bulldogs-Hoyas game moves on to face No. 1 seed and BIG EAST regular-season champion UConn in Saturday’s first of four quarterfinal games. Tipoff is slated for noon. At 2:30 p.m., No. 4 seed Marquette faces No. 5 seed Creighton. Beginning at 7 p.m., No. 2 seed Villanova faces the winner of the Friars-Blue Demons. Rounding out the night at 9:30 p.m. is No. 3 seed Seton Hall against the winner of the Johnnies-Musketeers.
Quarterfinal winners advance to Sunday’s semifinals, with Saturday’s afternoon session winners squaring off at 2:30 p.m., followed by the evening session winners at 5 p.m. Semifinal winners advance to Monday’s title game, which will tip at 7 p.m. All 10 games will be aired on Peacock.
