Chloe Brecht, Butler, Jr., M
Brecht finished a 1-0-1 week against Ball State and Miami (Ohio) with two goals. Brecht scored Butler's lone goal in the 1-1 draw with the Cardinals and then had the game-winner in the 1-0 win at Miami (Ohio).
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Kristen Schwartz, DePaul, Sr., D
Schwartz anchored DePaul's back line during a 2-0 week that included wins over Denver (2-1) and Lindenwood (1-0). In the 1-0 win against Lindenwood, she helped hold the Lions without a shot on goal over 90 minutes of play.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Addison Ash, Butler, So., GK
Ash made two saves in Butler's 1-1 draw with Ball State, followed by a 12-save performance in the 1-0 shutout at Miami (Ohio). She ended the week with a 0.50 goals-against average, 14 saves and a .933 save percentage.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kaylie Sheehan, Marquette, Fr., F
Sheehan made an impact in her second week of collegiate action, helping Marquette to a 1-0-1 record against Truman State and RV Wisconsin. She netted her first career goal in the 79th minute at Wisconsin, scoring the equalizer to help the Golden Eagles earn a 1-1 draw and their first result in Madison since 2001.
 
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Katelyn Haiser, DePaul, Fr., F
Haiser scored the game-winner in the 68th minute in the 2-1 win over Denver.
 
Mia Hurd, Marquette, Fr., GK
Hurd helped Marquette to a 1-0-1 week, opening the week with a shutout in the first half of the Golden Eagles' 4-1 victory over Truman State before making five saves in a 1-1 draw at Wisconsin. Hurd's five saves against the Badgers helped Marquette earn its first result in Madison since 2001, as she limited Wisconsin to one goal on 15 shots faced.
 
Brianna Azevedo, Seton Hall, Sr., M
Azevedo drew a 90th-minute penalty on the edge of the 18-yard box to then tally her first goal of the season on the ensuing PK as the Pirates earned a 1-0 win over Drexel. 
 
Kayla Bower, St. John's, Gr., GK
Bower made six saves and allowed just one goal in the 1-0-1 week against Towson and Columbia. The graduate student made three stops to earn her first victory of the season against Towson (W, 2-1) before recording three more saves in a shutout at Columbia (T, 0-0).
 
Telma Steindórsdóttir, St. John's, Jr., D
The junior opened the scoring against Towson in the 39th minute, finishing a cross through traffic for her second career goal. Steindórsdóttir followed that performance by helping anchor a St. John's back line that held Columbia scoreless, securing the Red Storm's first clean sheet of the season.
