Andra Espinoza-Hunter eclipsed the 20-point mark for the third straight game, leading the Pirates to their third straight win, sweeping the season series with Butler with Sunday’s victory. Espinoza-Hunter scored a game-high 24 points, knocking down 6-of-7 shots from deep while adding eight rebounds, four assists and two blocks. The Hall (6-3, 4-2 BIG EAST) shot .484 on the afternoon, including .577 from three – both their top marks in BIG EAST play this season. Four finished in double figures for Butler (1-8, 1-7), with Okako Adika tallying a team-high 18 points, while Jaia Alexander notched her first double-double of the year with 13 points and game-high 10 rebounds.

Marquette 72, St. John's 61
Selena Lott scored a season-high 30 points off 11-of-14 shooting and Chloe Marotta notched her first double-double of the year as Marquette scored a nationally televised road win at St. John’s on Sunday. The Golden Eagles (7-2, 4-1) led by just three after three quarters before outscoring the Red Storm (4-7, 1-5) by a 20-12 margin over the final 10 minutes, including nine points for Lott during that span. St. John’s Leilani Correa collected her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 boards, while Qadashah Hoppie scored a Red Storm-best 15 points. Marquette claimed the season sweep of St. John’s with the win. The Golden Eagles have now won six of their last seven games, with four of those wins coming in conference play.
