BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Sophie Hamilton, UConn, So., M (Bruton, England)
UConn sophomore midfielder Sophie Hamilton repeats as BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for the third consecutive week after she followed up last week’s 10-point week with a 12-point one with four goals and four assists. Hamilton helped the No. 7 Huskies go 2-0 over Villanova. Hamilton posted her second hat trick of the season, while also dishing out three assists in Saturday’s 8-0 win over the Wildcats, making her a part of six of the eight UConn goals. Hamilton followed that performance with a one-goal, one-assist effort in Sunday’s 3-0 victory. Hamilton has recorded at least one goal and one assist in five-straight contests and has posted multiple-goal games five times this year.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Bethany Dykema, Liberty, So., D (Newport News, Va.)
Liberty sophomore defender Bethany Dykema led a defense that held BIG EAST opponent Temple to just seven shots in two games, six on goal. Two of the six did go in, but the No. 6 Lady Flames  defeated Temple, 4-2, 2-0. Dykema was also part of the offensive as she netted two goals and assisted three for seven points. Dykema was the scorer of the final two Lady Flame goals in the 4-2 victory, coming at the 49:48 and 59:58 marks.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Asia Porter, Providence, Fr., GK (Somerset, Mass.)
Providence freshman goalie Asia Porter played 123:14 minutes in the cage last week and posted a 1-1 record, including a 1-0 victory over BIG EAT foe Quinnipiac for her first collegiate win and first shut-out victory. Porter posted a 0.97 goals against average and a .667 save percentage in games vs. Northeastern and Quinnipiac.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Claire Jandewerth, UConn
Jandewerth scored two goals and added an assist during a two-win week over Villanova for the No. 7 Huskies. She also anchored a defense that posted a pair of shutouts and allowed the Wildcats to muster only nine shots in two games.
Jodie Conolly, Liberty 
Conolly paced Liberty in goals (3) and points (8) during a 2-0 weekend for No. 6 Liberty against Temple. Conolly scored both Liberty goals in a 2-0 shutout win to finish the weekend.
Niamh Gowing, Providence
Scored the Friar’s lone goal with 10:50 left in regulation to tie Northeastern and send the game to overtime on April 1. On Saturday, she assisted the game-winning goal against Quinnipiac, carrying the ball 50 yards into the circle in the final 10 seconds of regulation and feeding the ball to her teammate Sophia Pompeo for win with one-second left.
