NEW YORK – The BIG EAST Conference has announced the remainder of its men’s basketball schedule from the end of December through early March.  Tipoff times and television coverage are being determined and will be announced soon. 
 
Due to expected challenges created by the pandemic, the BIG EAST and its institutions scheduled a concentrated group of 23 conference games from December 11-23 as a plan against possible scheduling challenges later in the season.
 
As a result, the schedule for February is lighter than usual with room for possible re-scheduled games. 
 
BIG EAST play picks up after the Christmas holiday with four games on December 30: DePaul at Connecticut, Creighton at Georgetown, Butler at Providence and St. John’s at Villanova.
 
The regular season ends on March 6 with five contests: Villanova at Providence, Georgetown at Connecticut, Butler at Creighton, Xavier at Marquette and Seton Hall at St. John’s.
