BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Sophie Hamilton, UConn, So., M (Bruton, England)

Connecticut sophomore midfielder posted her first career hat trick and added an assist in the Huskies’ 6-0 win over Quinnipiac on Thursday. Hamilton leads the team with eight goals, five assists and 21 points.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Azul Iritxity Irigoyen, Liberty, Fr., GK (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
Liberty keeper Azul Iritxity Irigoyen is the Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth consecutive week. In a 3-2 overtime win against No. 12 Duke, Irigoyen made 12 saves in the 76 minutes for another win for Liberty (9-1). She allowed two goals in the first period. The Blue Devils never scored again despite 14 shots on goal. Her goals against average for the game was 1.57 with a .857 save percentage. Three of her saves came in the first overtime. It was the first win for Liberty against Duke in six tries. 9-1 is the best start for Liberty through 10 games.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Nina Santore, Quinnipiac, Fr., GK (Berlin, N.J.)
Quinnipiac freshman keeper went 1-1 on the week making 19 saves and allowing six goals to score. She defended her goal with an eight-save shutout against Providence on Sunday. Against No. 6 UConn, a 6-0 loss, Santore made 11 saves.          
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Jill Bolton, Liberty, Sr., F
Bolton scored once and added an assist for three points in No. 5 Liberty’s 3-2 double overtime win at No. 12 Duke. Bolton scored the equalizer, tying the game at 2-2 in the 41st minute. Her assist was on the game-winner.
Julie Daels, Liberty, Fr. F
Daels scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute in Liberty’s 3-2 double overtime triumph over No. 12 Duke.
Jess Halley, Quinnipiac, Jr., D
Halley scored both goals for the Bobcats, a 2-0 victory over Providence.
