BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

Norah Sis, Creighton, So., OH
In a 2-0 week, Sis led the BIG EAST in points (5.19) while ranking second in kills (4.62). Her 29 points in the Bluejays’ 3-2 victory over UConn were the most of any conference match this season while her 27 kills led the BIG EAST this week. Sis’s double-double was her ninth this year. In a straight set victory over Providence, Sis recorded a match-high 10 kills while producing two blocks and a service ace.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Jenna Reitsma, Marquette, So., OH
In a perfect 2-0 week, Reitsma led the BIG EAST in service aces (0.83), ranked fourth in points (4.50), seventh in digs (4.17), and tenth in kills (3.50). She produced double-doubles in both the Golden Eagles’ straight set victories while leading Marquette in multiple categories. Against St. John’s, the sophomore produced match-highs in both digs (13) and aces (2). Against Seton Hall, she exploded for a match-best 11 kills and three aces contributing to a Marquette team which led the BIG EAST in kills this week (15.50).                                                  
                                                                                     
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Cora Taylor, Butler, Fr., S
In a 2-0 week, Taylor recorded match-best assists against Villanova (41) and Georgetown (35) to rank sixth in the BIG EAST in assists (9.50), the most of any freshmen. The rookie contributed 19 digs in a 3-1 victory over Georgetown before producing 13 digs against Villanova.

Jaymeson Kinley, Butler, Jr., L – in a 2-0 week, led the BIG EAST in digs (6.25), producing match-bests against Georgetown (29) and Villanova (21)
Allison Whitten, Creighton, Sr., DS – in a 2-0 week, recorded match-best digs against both UConn (14) and Providence (18), landing No. 8 in the BIG East (4.00) this week
Carsen Murray, Marquette, Jr., MB – in a 2-0 week, led the BIG EAST in hitting percentage (.571), totaling 17 kills in the pair of straight set victories                                           
Brielle Mullaly, Providence, Sr., S/RS – in a 1-1 week, led the Friars past Xavier for the first time since 2017 with a triple-double including a match-best 17 kills and two service aces
Giorgia Walther, St. John’s, So., OH – in a 1-1 week, finished No. 1 in the BIG EAST in kills (4.67) and No. 2 in points (5.00).
