No. 21 Creighton held Seton Hall scoreless for more than eight minutes in the fourth quarter, relying on defense to earn the 57-49 win over rival Seton Hall on Sunday in Omaha. Creighton's sixth straight win moved the Bluejays to 16-3 and alone in second place with a 7-2 BIG EAST record at the halfway point. Seton Hall fell to 12-8 overall and 4-5 in league play. Emma Ronsiek led the Bluejays with 18 points, while SHU’s Azana Baines had a game-high 19 points.

St. John's 57, Georgetown 56  
Georgetown trailed by 17 in the fourth quarter before closing the game on a 22-6 run to get within a point, but it was St. John’s that hung on to score the home win on Sunday afternoon. The Red Storm (13-9, 7-3) outscored the Hoyas (14-6, 4-5) by a 25-10 margin in the third quarter to build up the lead, before GU responded with a 24-9 fourth. Unique Drake led St. John’s with 18 points while Georgetown’s Kelsey Ransom scored a game-high 19 points.

Villanova 95, DePaul 64  
The visiting Wildcats shot 54-percent from the field and used a 20-2 run between the second and third quarters to improve to 13-7 on the season and 6-3 in BIG EAST play while DePaul dropped to 10-12 and 2-7 in league action. Lucy Olsen led four Wildcats in double figures with a game-high 24 points, as VU shot .543 from the field and .542 from deep. DePaul, which shot .393 from the field, was sparked by Katlyn Gilbert’s 12 points.
