WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's soccer team (15-3-2) earned an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA Championships as announced by the NCAA on Monday afternoon's selection show. This marks GU's 16th tournament bid in program history and 14th-consecutive season making the NCAA Tournament.
Head Coach Dave Nolan
“Obviously we were very excited to hear our name called out today, and to be a #2 Seed is a testament to the strength of our schedule and the competitiveness of our conference. My team is very excited to prove to the committee that we are worthy of our high seed, and it certainly reflects the respect for our body of work and tradition within our program.
We hosted Sacred Heart last year, and they made it very challenging for us, but we look forward to hosting Coach Micros and his team on Friday night; that's our focus right now. We are grateful to be one of only 64 teams still playing right now."
