BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Carson Tyler, Jr., OH, Marquette
Tyler led the Golden Eagles to a 2-1 week with 4.67 kills and 5.71 points per set. She also contributed 29 digs, 11 blocks, and seven aces. The junior opened the week with 16 kills, eight digs, and two blocks at No. 6 Wisconsin before notching a double-double with 28 kills and 14 digs in a 3-2 victory over St. Thomas. Tyler concluded the weekend with 12 kills, seven digs, five blocks, and two aces in a sweep of Milwaukee.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Rashanny Solano Smith, Sr., L, St. John’s
Solano Smith paced the BIG EAST with a staggering 88 digs in 12 sets (7.33 digs/set) at the Jack Kaiser Classic. Her strongest outing came in a 3-1 victory over Penn when the senior logged a career-best 41 digs. This feat marked the most digs by any player in the NCAA since 2024. She wrapped the weekend with 20 and 27 digs against Bryant and Rutgers, respectively.
BIG EAST Setter of the Week
Gwen Adler, Jr., S, Seton Hall
Adler set Seton Hall to a 2-1 record at the NJIT Invitational, averaging 8.31 assists per frame, while registering the first triple-double by a BIG EAST athlete this season. In a 3-1 victory over Iona, the setter notched 28 assists, 20 digs, and 10 kills, marking the Pirates’ first triple-double since 2014. She also contributed a pair of double-doubles, matching her career-best with 40 assists and 13 digs against NJIT (W, 3-2) and logging 40 assists with 10 digs versus New Haven (L, 1-3).
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Chase Lemming, Fr., OH, Butler
Lemming led the BIG EAST with 6.43 kills per set while hitting a second-best .500 across three matches. She delivered a career-best performance in a setback to Duke on Friday night, contributing 28 kills on .479 hitting. The rookie also registered three blocks to average a conference-best 6.71 points per set.

Helena Einarsdottir, Fr., RS, UConn
Einarsdottir contributed 3.75 kills per set on .385 hitting with 20 digs and eight blocks to help UConn to a 2-1 record at the “For the White & Blue” Tournament.
Leonor Polezzi, Sr., S, DePaul
Polezzi directed DePaul to a pair of victories at the Chicago Cup with 59 assists, 20 digs, eight aces, and a block. Additionally, she delivered six kills without an error.
Berkeley Ploder, Jr., MB, Georgetown
Ploder led the league with 2.17 blocks per set, anchoring a Georgetown defense that refused to relinquish a set at the Georgetown/George Washington Tournament.
Luanna Markus, Fr., S, Marquette
Markus quarterbacked the Marquette offense with 9.67 assists per set while logging 20 digs, eight blocks, and seven kills in 12 sets. She contributed a double-double in a five-set victory over St. Thomas, producing 54 assists and 10 digs along with two blocks.
Carola Tesoro, Fr., OH, St. John’s
Tesoro averaged 4.66 kills per set at the Jack Kaiser Classic, including a BIG EAST-best 30 kills in a five-set loss to Rutgers. She added 16 digs against the Scarlett Knights for her second double-double of the weekend.
