Four Teams Split Latest #BIGEASTwlax Weekly Awards

Eliza Radochonski totaled 12 points in a 2-0 week for Denver.

Eliza Radochonski, Denver, Jr., A
Radochonski was the BIG EAST’s points and goals leader last week, totaling 12 points off nine goals and three assists. The 4-0 Pioneers defeated Oregon on Friday, with Radochonski registering six points off four goals and two assists, before knocking off Harvard on Sunday behind the junior attacker’s five goals and an assist. She added three ground balls and a caused turnover on the week.

BIG EAST Midfielder Of The Week
Natalia Lynch, Georgetown, Sr., M
Lynch sparked the Hoyas in a 12-10 win at Drexel on Saturday, totaling four goals, seven draw controls and a ground ball. The senior midfielder’s score with 13:36 remaining in regulation proved to be the game winner, guiding Georgetown to its second win of the season.  

BIG EAST Defensive Player Of The Week
Alexa Moro, Villanova, So., GK
At No. 16/13 Navy on Saturday, Moro made 12 saves and faced 32 shots, allowing just nine goals for a .571 save percentage as the Wildcats pulled off the upset with a  12-9 victory. The Midshipmen entered the game averaging 16 goals per game and hadn’t been limited to single-digit scores since May 4, 2019.  
 
BIG EAST Freshman Of The Week
Hannah Greving, Marquette, Fr., M
Greving was the steady scorer for the Golden Eagles last week, going for a combined seven goals in a 2-1 week which included home wins over Canisius and Niagara. The rookie midfielder scored twice at Louisville on Monday, two more against the Griffins on Friday, before notching a hat trick against the Purple Eagles on Sunday.  
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Ashley Guerra, Butler, Jr., A
Guerra led Butler in a 1-1 week, totaling seven points off six goals and an assist. Her week was highlighted by a five-goal, one-assist outing in Thursday’s win over Detroit Mercy, matching the BIG EAST single-game weekly high with five scores. Kailee Lammers, Denver, So., D
The Pioneers posted the stingiest goals against average last week at just 6.50 with Lammers leading the charge. The sophomore was instrumental in keeping the ball out of the opponents’ possession as Oregon and Harvard combined for just a 31-42 rate on clears while Denver outshot its foes by a 73-32 margin. Lammers added four caused turnovers, two draw controls and two ground balls in the 2-0 week.
Sabrina Leatherwood, Old Dominion, Fr., GK
Leatherwood went 1-1 in the net last week, totaling a .595 save percentage and 8.50 goals against average. The rookie made double-digit saves in both contests, including 14 in Saturday’s 12-6 win over Radford.
