Osburn tallied eight goals and four assists in Marquette’s 2–0 week with wins over Eastern Michigan (20–9) and Cincinnati (17–10). She recorded four goals and three assists against Eastern Michigan, then added four goals and one assist versus Cincinnati.

Hanna Bodner, Marquette, Gr., M
Bodner scored seven goals on 11 shots to open the season, adding nine draw controls and three ground balls. She posted three goals and six draw controls against Eastern Michigan, then followed with four goals, three draw controls, and three ground balls versus Cincinnati.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Abby Beran, UConn, Jr., D
Beran anchored the UConn defense in a 12–11 overtime loss to Drexel, setting career highs with eight ground balls and five caused turnovers. Her eight ground balls were the most by a UConn player since 2018.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kate O’Neill, Villanova, Fr., M
O’Neill recorded six caused turnovers, six ground balls, and a draw control in Villanova’s 15–6 win over Towson in her collegiate debut. The freshman becomes the first Wildcat since 2017 to record six caused turnovers.

Hadley Bethke, UConn, Fr., A
Bethke scored five goals in UConn’s overtime loss to Drexel, the most by a UConn freshman since 2018.
