BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Zach Zengue, Georgetown, Jr., M (North Oaks, Minn.)
Zengue helped lead a second half surge that pushed Georgetown to a 3-0 win at home against No. 21 Providence. After a scoreless first half with the Hoyas maintaining a slight 7-3 edge on shots taken, Zengue and the Hoyas tallied 14 second half shots including a co-team-high five from Zengue. The junior got the Hoyas on the board first in the 63rd minute with an assist to Marlon Tabora. 35 seconds later, he added an insurance goal to cap the afternoon with four points.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Beto Ydrach, Akron, R-Sr., D (Orlando, Fla.)
Ydrach headlined the defensive efforts for the Zips in a 1-0 victory over Xavier. Ydrach helped Akron post its third consecutive shutout including back-to-back clean sheets over Xavier and Georgetown. The Zips limited the Musketeers to six shots on goal, while holding Xavier’s top five shot takers to a combined four shots. After Akron scored in the 66th minute, Ydrach sparked the Akron defense to hold the Musketeers to only one shot on goal over the final nearly 25 minutes to secure the shutout.
 
BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Santiago Davila, DePaul, Sr., GK (Wauwatosa, Wis.)
Davila was outstanding in net for the Blue Demons on Friday posting a shutout on the road. The senior goalkeeper recorded seven saves and faced 23 shot attempts, as he helped lead DePaul to a 2-0 win over Creighton. Holding on to a 1-0 lead for most of the contest, Davila made five second half saves, including a diving attempt that just kept a Creighton shot off the line and out of harm’s way. Over the past three games, Davila is 2-0-1 in net with 20 combined saves and a pair of shutouts.

BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Max Kerkvliet, UConn, R-Fr., GK (Houston, Texas)
For the second consecutive week, Kerkvliet is the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week after registering his third consecutive shutout in net and improving to 7-0-3 overall. On Friday, he led UConn to a 3-0 road victory over Villanova, registering four saves in the triumph. The redshirt freshman now has five shutouts through the first 10 games of his collegiate career.
 
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Mitch Budler, Akron, R-Jr., GK (Lincoln, Neb.)
Budler was again stellar in net for the Zips helping the squad post its second straight clean sheet in league play and third consecutive shutout overall. Budler registered six saves in a 1-0 victory over Xavier, including four in the decisive second half.
 
Kieran Chandler, UConn, So., D (Simsbury, Conn.)
In Friday’s win over Villanova, Chandler was impactful on both ends of the pitch. Defensively, he helped the Huskies limit the Wildcats to just four shots on goal, while dishing out two assists on the offensive end to seal the victory.

Maximus Jennings, Georgetown, Sr., D (Montclair, N.J.)
Jennings anchored a Georgetown defense that limited No. 21 Providence to just seven shots and two shots on goal, to lead the Hoyas to a 3-0 home win. 

Augustin Resch, Seton Hall, Jr., D (Arata, Argentina)
Resch was at the center of a defense that weathered the storm of an explosive Marquette attack, limiting the Golden Eagles to just three shots on goal in a 1-0 win on Friday night.
 
Augustine Broadi, St. John’s, Jr., M (Kumasi, Ghana)
Broadi scored the equalizer in Friday’s 2-1 comeback win at Butler. Boadi ripped four shot attempts in 29 minutes on the pitch, firing three on target and one past the Bulldogs' keeper in the 50th minute.
