NEW YORK – Following a second straight undefeated conference regular season, #12 Creighton (23-5, 16-0) earned the top seed in the 2025 BIG EAST Volleyball Championship presented by JEEP. The 12-time BIG EAST regular season champions will compete for their 11th tournament title Nov. 22-23 at the Al McGuire Center on the campus of Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Xavier (25-3, 14-2) claimed the tournament’s second seed after a historic 2025 campaign, advancing to its seventh overall BIG EAST Championship. The Musketeers 14 conference wins tied the program-best mark set in 2015 while the squad’s 25 overall wins match the team record set in 2001.
Villanova (20-7, 11-5) earned the third seed, winning back-to-back matches to close the regular season and punch its ticket to Milwaukee. The Wildcats have made three consecutive tournament appearances highlighted by a first round victory last year to advance to the semifinals for the first time since 2019.
Marquette (17-9, 11-5) secured the fourth seed with four victories to end the regular season and earn a spot in the BIG EAST tournament for the 15th consecutive season. The Golden Eagles will look to make their 10th overall title match appearance.
No. 1 Creighton will face No. 4 Marquette in the first semifinal on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. ET (12 p.m. CT). The second semifinal, featuring No. 2 Xavier and No. 3 Villanova, will follow at 3:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. CT). Both matches will stream on ESPN+.
The semifinal victors will face off in the Championship match on Nov. 23 at 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT). The contest will air nationally on ESPN2. The winner will earn the BIG EAST’s automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
