BIG EAST Player of the Week
Brian Kelly, St. John’s, Sr., A (Red Hook, N.Y.)
Kelly capped a 1-1 week for the Red Storm with eight goals and three assists. In a midweek win over Quinnipiac (15-9) the senior attackman tallied four goals and dished out an assist. He added four more goals and two assists in Saturday’s overtime loss against Hofstra. Overall, he has at least five points in all four games this season and leads the Red Storm with 22 points and 11 goals. His 11 assists are second most on the team.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Ty Banks, Georgetown, So., D (Coquitlam, B.C.)
Banks collected two ground balls and tied a career-high with four caused turnovers in an 11-9 loss to top-ranked Notre Dame. Georgetown’s defense held the back-to-back defending national champions to 12 goals below their season average.

BIG EAST Specialist of the Week
Tyler Sandoval, Villanova, Gr., FOS (Garden City, N.Y.)
Sandoval went 15-for-19 (.790) in the circle in a loss to Colgate on Saturday, including 8-for-10 (800) in the first half. The graduate student also picked up six ground balls. The .790-win percentage was the best mark for a Villanova face-off specialist since March 14, 2021.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Noah Snyder, Marquette, Fr., M (Irving, N.Y.)
Snyder posted the first five points of his NCAA career with a hat trick and two assists while playing in MU’s second midfield in a 15-7 win over Cleveland State on Saturday. He assisted both of Beau Westphal’s second quarter scores and recorded all three goals after the half. His first two goals came consecutively to end the third quarter and pushed MU from a two to four goal advantage after 45 minutes.

Fulton Bayman, Georgetown, Gr., A
Bayman scored two goals and added an assists against top-ranked Notre Dame on Saturday.
Nolan Rappis, Marquette, Sr., A
Rappis led the MU offense with six points on four assists and a pair of goals. The senior orchestrated a MU attack that out-shot the Vikings, 56-24, and he scored both of his goals in the opening half.
Dan Donahue, Providence, Gr., GK
Donahue tied a season high with 15 saves and recorded a .682 save percentage in a 7-6 loss to Brown.
Quinn Falasca, St. John’s, Fr., D
Falasca had five ground balls and four caused turnovers in a midweek win over Quinnipiac. He followed it up with six ground balls against Hofstra.
Jack Shoemaker, Villanova, Jr., D
Shoemaker caused three turnovers and picked up two ground balls against Colgate.
