BIG EAST Player of the Week
Brian Kelly, St. John’s, Sr., A (Red Hook, N.Y.)
Kelly tallied 10 points in two games last week against Rutgers and Mercer. He had a career-high nine points on six helpers and three goals on Saturday against Mercer. As a senior, he leads the team with 21 goals, to go along with 17 assists and 38 points, and has recorded at least five points in five games this year.
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Robert Plath, Georgetown, Fr., D (Mahopac, N.Y.)
Plath anchored the Georgetown defense causing a career-tying-high four turnovers for the second-straight game in a 17-10 win over High Point. Georgetown’s defense held the Panthers scoreless in the fourth quarter and with just one goal in the final 21:38 of the game. Plath now has 18 caused turnovers in the season, tied for 20th most in a single season on the Hilltop. Only Gibson Smith IV (19 in 2018) and Ty Banks (24 in 2024) have recorded more during their freshman campaign at Georgetown.
BIG EAST Specialist of the Week
Adam Slager, Marquette, R-So., FOS (Sloughton, Wis.)
Slager posted career highs of 15 faceoff wins and eight ground balls in Marquette’s 12-11 overtime victory at Utah on Saturday. The redshirt sophomore was 15-of-18 at the faceoff dot and secured his 15 faceoff win and eighth ground ball at the start of overtime to give MU possession prior to Bobby O’Grady’s game winner.
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Kevin Miller, Georgetown, Fr., M (Clarksburg, Md.)
Miller registered a hat trick and added a pair of assists to finish with five points in a 17-10 win over high point. The three goals matched a career-high previously achieved in the season opener, while the two assists and five points both set career-bests. Overall, Miller has nine goals and 12 points in 2025.
BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll
Chris Caldwell, Denver, R-So., LSM
Tied career highs and recorded team-highs in both ground balls (6) and caused turnovers (3) to lead the Pioneers in the middle of the field.
Aidan Carroll, Georgetown, Gr., A
Carroll posted five points, with three goals and two assists in a win over High Point.
Matt Caputo, Marquette, Jr., M
Caputo scored a career-high four goals and tallied an assist in the overtime win over Utah.
Jack Horrigan, Providence, Sr., A
Horrigan tallied four goals and an assist against Duke.
Adrian Novak, St. John’s, R-So., A
In the win over Mercer, Novak scored career-high six goals for the Red Storm.
