DENVER – The 2025 BIG EAST Men’s Lacrosse Championship Presented by JEEP continues Saturday night at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium with the title game. At 3 p.m. MT, No. 1 seed Georgetown faces No. 2 seed Villanova on CBS Sports Network. Georgetown has its eye on an NCAA record seventh straight conference championship title, while the Wildcats aim for their first. The BIG EAST Champion will earn an automatic bid in the NCAA Tournament. The 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket will be revealed Sunday, May 4 at 9:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

The Hoyas (10-4, 4-1 BE) enter Saturday’s game fresh off a 19-8 win over Marquette, while the Wildcats (8-6, 4-1 BE) most recently held on to defeat Providence, 16-14. The two teams have met five times before in a BIG EAST Championship weekend, as Georgetown leads the championship series, 4-1. Georgetown won 10-9 at Villanova Stadium just under 365 days ago in the 2024 finals. On the season, Aidan Carroll leads the Hoyas with 56 points (34G, 22A), while Fulton Bayman adds 53 (25G, 28A) and Jack Ransom chimes in with 28 (26G, 2A). Colin Michener leads Villanova with 39 points (25G, 14A) while Matt Licata adds 37 points (26G, 11A). Defensively, Robert Plath has been credited with 26 caused turnovers on the season while Ty Banks has 22 and Seamus Foley has 20 for the Hoyas. For Villanova, Jake Melchionni has been credited with 22 caused turnovers, while Beau Kemler has 20. In goal, Anderson Moore has played all but 28:54 minutes for Georgetown and boasts an 8.87 GAA with a .535 save percentage and 139 saves. In his first collegiate season Denis Fargione has started 11 of 14 games for Villanova, posting a 10.49 GAA to go with a .493 save percentage and 111 saves.
