BIG EAST Women’s Soccer Weekly Awards Announced (9.1.25)

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Elin Hansson, Xavier, Sr., F
Against No. 17 Michigan State, Hansson posted the first hat trick of her collegiate career to lead the team to a 5-2 victory on Sunday. It also marked the most goals in a game for a Musketeer since Samantha Dewey's four goals against Murray State on August 22, 2019. She started the week off with a two-goal performance in the 8-0 shutout win versus Murray State.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Natalie Bain, Xavier, Sr., D
Bain was part of a defensive unit that held nationally ranked Michigan State without a look on goal for the final 30 minutes. She also dished out an assist on Elin Hansson's third goal in the 5-2 win. Earlier in the week, Bain helped the Musketeers to a second-straight shutout in their 8-0 win over Murray State, collecting a pair of assists.

BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week

For the second straight game, Bower matched her career-high saves with five in the 2-1 victory versus Youngstown State on Sunday.
