BIG EAST Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week
Guilherme Gomes, St. John’s, Fr., M (São Paulo, Brazil)
Gomes scored four of the team’s five goals in the 5-0 win over New Hampshire, as he recorded a hat-trick in a span of just 6:14. The freshman became the first-ever St. John's rookie and the first player since Fred Bischoff on Oct. 23, 1982 to score four or more goals in a single-game.  It also marks the first time since the BIG EAST Semifinal on Nov. 10, 2022 a conference player tallied four goals in a game, a feat accomplished by Creighton’s Duncan McGuire.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Matthew Paiva, Akron, Jr., D (Toronto, Ontario)
Paiva helped lead the defensive efforts for the Zips in a pair of shutouts this past week versus No. 8 West Virginia and Cleveland State to extend the team’s shutout streak to four to open the season. Paiva and the Zips limited the Mountaineers, who came into the game averaging 20.0 shots and 12.0 shots on target, to only one shot on goal (six overall shots). Paiva and Akron then held the Vikings without a shot on goal en route to a 1-0 victory to end the week.

BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week
Alec McLachlan, St. John’s, Sr., GK (Stockport, England)

McLachan logged a pair of clean sheets during a 1-0-1 week for the Red Storm. The senior posted six saves in the pair of shutouts, including four in a 0-0 draw at fifth ranked Wake Forest on Sunday. Overall, McLachlam has logged three shutouts in the first four matches of the season, marking a first for St. John's since the 2019 campaign.

Honor Roll
Kyle Durham, UConn, Fr., GK

Durham had 12 saves and one clean sheet in a 1-0-1 week for UConn, including a career-high seven saves in the 5-1 win over Manhattan.

Keagan Pace, DePaul, Jr., F
Pace scored two goals in a 1-0-1 week against Chicago State (W, 2-1) and St. Thomas (T, 1-1). The junior has scored in three straight matches and ranks second in the conference this season.

Mitchell Bakes, Georgetown, So., F
Bakes scored his first goal of the year in Georgetown’s 1-1 tie versus top-ranked Vermont on Monday.

Oliver Stafford, Georgetown, Jr., D
Stafford scored his first career-goal and the game-winner in the 1-0 victory over third-ranked Pitt, while also playing a factor on the defensive end in a 1-0-1 week against a pair of top-five opponents.

Mitchell Dryden, Marquette, Sr., F
Dryden recorded two goals on four shots last week, including the game-tying goal against Drake in the 86th minute.
