NEW YORK – Butler's Addi Kooi and Logan Sutto were selected as BIG EAST Golfers of the Week. Both golfers were victorious this past week in their respective competitions.
Kooi was the medalist at the NKU Invitational, with a record-setting performance en route to her first collegiate victory. The Bulldogs finished atop the team leaderboard. On the men's side, Sutto captured first place honors at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, helping guide the Dawgs to the team title.
BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week
Addi Kooi, Butler
Kooi earned her first individual collegiate title, taking first place at the NKU Invitational. Kooi set a new Butler record for 54-hole scoring relative to par, firing a 5-under total score of 208. She carded 10 birdies on the weekend, taking over the lead during the second round en route to an eight-stroke victory. Kooi's performance helped pace the Bulldogs to the team title.
BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week
Logan Sutto, Butler
Sutto earned medalist honors for the second time in his collegiate career, taking the individual crown at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational. The junior was under par in each of the three rounds of competition, including a final round 67 which propelled him to a one-stroke win. He registered 13 birdies over the three rounds and was one of four Bulldogs in the top 10, helping secure the victory.

Butler claimed the team title at the NKU Invitational by 22 strokes, finishing with a 54-hole score of 874 (296-286-292)...

Seton Hall - competed at the weather-shortened Princeton Invitational...the Red Storm finished in seventh place, carding a team score of 613 and were led by Laura Mizlerova, who tied for 10th (146)...
Georgetown finished in eighth place (620) in the 36-hole tournament, led by Sunny Wang who tied for 17th place...
Creighton's Julia Karmazin tied for 10th place at the Powercat Classic, leading the charge for the Bluejays to a ninth place finish as a team...
Seton Hall's Marta Aguilar tied for 27th place as the Pirates were 11th overall...
Providence posted its second top five team finish of the season, placing fifth at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic...Annabel Widdifield was the team's top finisher in 15th place as three Friars placed inside the top 20.
