NEW YORK – Xavier's Ivanna Flores is the BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week, while Creighton's Owen Price and UConn's Kai-Jun Huang share BIG EAST Male Golfer of the Week honors.

Flores placed second at the Lady Paladin Invitational, held at Furman University, finishing with a school record 10-under par score for the 54-hole tournament.  Huang took first place honors in a playoff at The Goat tournament, held at the U.S. Naval Academy.  Price used birdies on the 16th and 17th holes to win the Bluejay Invitational in Omaha.

Flores matched a program standard for lowest score to par, en route to her runner-up finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational.  The junior posted a 10-under par score of 206 for the three rounds, opening with an even-par 72 before closing with a fury.  Flores carded a pair of 67's to finish at 10-under.  The second place finish was Flores' best as a collegiate golfer.

Owen Price, Creighton
Price was medalist at the Bluejay Invitational, finishing at 6-under par with a total score of 210.  He was the only player in the field to shoot below par in all three rounds, registering scores of 70-69-71 to secure his first collegiate victory.  The senior firmed up the win with consecutive birdies on the 16th and 17th holes during the final round.

Kai-Jun Huang, UConn
Huang was victorious after a three-way playoff to capture The Goat tournament at the U.S. Naval Academy.  The junior birdied the third playoff hole en route to his second collegiate victory.  Huang finished at 2-under par with a 54-hole score of 211 (66-74-71), opening with a first round 66 - his low-round as a member of the Huskies.  

Women's Notes:  Xavier finished third as a team at the Lady Paladin Tournament, posting a 3-under total team score of 861...it was the second consecutive tournament where the Musketeers finished under par...Julia Karmazin led Creighton at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate in Bozeman, Mont....the Bluejays' junior tied for 33rd place, firing an even-par 72 to close out tournament play.

Men’s Notes: Marquette tied for sixth place at the Gopher Invitational...the Golden Eagles were led by Vincent Cervantes and Mischa Candinas, who each tied for third place individually with 6-under scores of 210...It was Candinas' highest collegiate finish, while it was Cervantes' third straight top 10 to start the season...Georgetown, UConn, and Villanova were among the field at The Goat...Georgetown was second overall on the team leaderboard, with a 7-over par total of 859...the Hoyas' Carson Erick was part of the three-way playoff and finished the tournament with a total of 211 (68-73-70)...UConn finished sixth overall as a team, registering a 54-hole total of 876...Villanova finished ninth as a team, led by Vibhav Alokam who tied for 16th place...Alokam's round two 70 was the sixth-lowest in the field...DePaul finished sixth overall at the FAU Invitational, recording a 5-under total of 859...the Blue Demons were led by Rizq Adam Rohizam and Frederik Richardson, who each finished in a tie for sixth place at 7-under par (209)...Providence competed at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial, placing 12th...Zac Georgantas tied for 31st place (73-72-74=219)...Xavier competed in the rain-shortened Rod Myers Invitational at Duke University, placing sixth in the 13-team field with a two-round total of 572 (-4)...Kellen Dean led the Musketeers with a 20th place finish, with a 2-under 142.
