NEW YORK – A pair of individual winners on both the men's and women's side highlight the BIG EAST Weekly Golf awards. Butler's Rachel Johnson and Isabel Brozena from Xavier each finished atop their respective individual leaderboards, while Will Hennessee from Seton Hall and Xavier's AJ Adams took first place this past week.
Johnson registered her first collegiate victory, earning medalist honors at the Butler Fall Invitational. She finished the 54-hole tournament at even-par, winning by two strokes. Brozena won the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, going 7-under par to capture her second tournament title of the fall season.
Hennessee won the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational in Farmington, Pa., rallying to birdie the 18th hole to finish at 5-under, earning a share of the individual title. His solid play helped lead the Pirates to a team victory. Adams placed first in a field of 39 golfers at the Indy at Forest Hills, finishing at 9-under par for the 36 holes of competition.

Rachel Johnson, Butler
Johnson recorded the first victory of her collegiate career at the Butler Fall Invitational. She finished the three-round tournament at even-par, posting scores of 70, 68, and 72 and circling 11 birdies over the 54 holes of play. The freshman won the tournament by two strokes and helped lead the Bulldogs to a commanding team victory.
Isabel Brozena, Xavier
Brozena won her second tournament of the 2026 fall campaign, earning a share of medalist honors at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate at the University of Denver Golf Club. The junior played the final two rounds of the tournament at 10-under par, closing out play with a 7-under final round of 65 en route to a total score of 209. She led the 85-player field in par 4 scoring (-5, 3.83 avg).

Will Hennessee, Seton Hall
Hennessee rallied on the 18th hole during the final round, securing a share of the individual title. He entered the final hole of competition trailing by a stroke before finding the bottom of the cup on a long birdie putt to earn his first collegiate win. He finished at 5-under par for the tournament, recording scores of 69, 72, and 70 en route to a total score of 211.
AJ Adams, Xavier
Adams took first place at The Indy at Forest Hills - a one-day, 36-hole individuals only tournament hosted at Forest Hills C.C. in Richmond, Ind. Adams bested the 39-player field, firing a 9-under par 131 to earn his second career victory and fifth career top 10 finish. The senior carded an opening round 66 before closing with a second round 65.

Butler won its Fall Invitational tournament by 20 strokes...the Bulldogs had four golfers finish among the top 10, including Treva Dodd in third, Addi Kooi in fourth, and Brooklynn Bohnert tied for sixth...
Xavier finished second in the 15-team field at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate, one stroke off the win...the Musketeers were 5-under par as a team, with a total score of 859...
Creighton's Katharine Marshall led the Bluejays women's golf team to a 12th place finish at the Marilyn Smith Sunflower Invitational at Lawrence Country Club...Marshall finished 44th overall in the field with a score of 233.
