Georgetown and Denver Collect MLAX Weekly Honors

BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week
Rory Connor, Georgetown, Gr., A (Manhasset, N.Y.)
Connor added six more points to his season total, registering his fifth-straight hat trick in as many games with the Hoyas this season. Connor place four goals in the back of the net, including the game-winner, and dished out a pair of assists in a 16-8 win over UAlbany. He has already amassed 24 goals and five assists to open the season, leading the nation with 4.80 goals per game.
 
BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
Grayson Manning, Denver, So., G (Victoria, British Columbia)
In a road showdown against No. 8 Ohio State, Manning acted as a stone wall in a 4-6 set back against the Buckeyes. The sophomore goalie registered 12 saves and a 0.667 save percentage in the contest. Through six games, Manning leads the nation with a 0.673 save percentage, allowing just 37 goals in comparison to 76 saves. Overall, he ranks second nationally with a 6.57 goals against average.

BIG EAST Specialist of the Week
George Acton, Georgetown, Sr., LSM (Annapolis, Md.)
Acton dominated the field with career-high three caused turnovers, along with a career-high six ground balls to control the middle for the Hoyas. The senior long-stick midfielder tallied his first goal of the year and second of his career to lead Georgetown to a win over UAlbany.
 
BIG EAST Freshman of the Week
Evan MacFarland, Georgetown, Fr., LSM (Malvern, Pa.)
MacFarland was credited with a career-high three caused turnovers and three ground balls, to lead Georgetown to an eight-goal win over UAlbany. The freshman long-stick midfielder also scored his first career-goal in the team triumph.

Russell Overly, Denver, Sr., D
Helped hold Ohio State to just six goals, collecting five ground balls and a caused turnover.
Anderson Moore, Georgetown, Jr., G 
Moore finished the 16-8 win over UAlbany with a .600 save percentage, collecting 12 stops.
Carson Brandt, Marquette, Sr., D 
Brandt scored two goals and dished out three assists in the loss to Utah.
Ryan Cunningham, Villanova, Jr., FOGO 
Cunningham went 13-for-17 at the faceoff spot against Towson, scooping up four ground balls.
Luke Raymond, Villanova, Gr., A
Raymond scored three goals in a set back against Towson, his sixth multi-goal game of the season.
