NEW YORK – Kelly Wu from St. John's was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week. The senior from Auckland, New Zealand led the Red Storm to a fifth place finish at the UNCW River Landing Classic.

Kelly Wu, St. John's, Sr.
Wu placed 11th overall, leading the Red Storm at the UNCW River Landing Classic. The senior from Auckland, New Zealand carded a pair of 74's during the first and second rounds of play, followed by a final round 78. It is her first top 15 finish of the spring season and her second of the 2025-26 campaign.
Women's Team Notes -
Georgetown competed at the Daniel Island Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston at the Ralston Creek course...the Hoyas were 15th on the team leaderboard, finishing with a team total of 931 (312-310-309)...Georgia Ruffalo finished 34th overall for Georgetown, with a 9-over total score of 225 (76-76-73). She posted a birdie and 15 pars en route to a final round 73 (+1)...
St. John's was fifth as a team at the UNCW River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C....The Red Storm finished with a team total of 942...in additional to Wu's 11th place finish, SJU's Lily Huynh earned her best collegiate finish, placing 13th overall.
