NEW YORK – Kelly Wu from St. John's was named BIG EAST Women's Golfer of the Week.  The senior from Auckland, New Zealand led the Red Storm to a fifth place finish at the UNCW River Landing Classic.

Wu placed 11th overall, leading the Red Storm at the UNCW River Landing Classic.  The senior from Auckland, New Zealand carded a pair of 74's during the first and second rounds of play, followed by a final round 78.  It is her first top 15 finish of the spring season and her second of the 2025-26 campaign.

Women's Team Notes - Georgetown competed at the Daniel Island Invitational, hosted by the College of Charleston at the Ralston Creek course...the Hoyas were 15th on the team leaderboard, finishing with a team total of 931 (312-310-309)...Georgia Ruffalo finished 34th overall for Georgetown, with a 9-over total score of 225 (76-76-73).  She posted a birdie and 15 pars en route to a final round 73 (+1)...St. John's was fifth as a team at the UNCW River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C....The Red Storm finished with a team total of 942...in additional to Wu's 11th place finish, SJU's Lily Huynh earned her best collegiate finish, placing 13th overall.
