BIG EAST Player of the Week
Ben North, Creighton, Gr., SS (Woodbury, Minn.)
North led Creighton to a perfect 4-0 week with a .538 average (7-for-13). He collected six RBI, three doubles, a home run and six stolen bases, to cap the week with a .667 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage. The Bluejay shortstop also flashed his glove with several spectacular plays to sweep Seton Hall. He delivered at least one hit in each game, posting multiple hits twice. North capped the week with four RBI in the series finale with the Pirates, blasting his eighth double and sixth home run of the season.
 
BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week
Cayden Suchy, UConn, So., LHP (Sterling, Va.)
Suchy was sensational on Saturday, tossing a complete game en route to a 3-1 win over Butler. The sophomore lefty allowed just three hits and zero walks in the outing. Overall, he struck out 11 batters in the triumph to set up Sunday’s series clinching win. He surpassed 100 pitches in a game for a fourth time this season and third consecutive, throwing a career high 117. It also marked his third consecutive win on the mound. He has struck out 32 batters across his last 24.0 innings pitched, allowing just 10 hits and three runs, with one walk.
 
Honor Roll
Jack Pineau, Creighton, Jr., RHP
Pineau opened the weekend against Seton Hall with six shutout innings, notching eight strikeouts in 106 pitches. He allowed just four hits and a walk, helping Creighton deliver its first shutout of the season. 
Isaac Wachsmann, Creighton, Jr., CF
Wachsmann came on for his best week of the season, hitting three home runs and batting 6-for-13 with seven RBI. He capped the weekend with a 1.143 slugging percentage.
Evan Chaffee, St. John’s, R-Jr., LHP
Chaffee earned the win in Saturday’s series clinching victory over Georgetown, tossing 6.0 scoreless innings and allowing just five hits with eight strikeouts for the second consecutive start.
Adam Agresti, St. John’s, R-So., 1B/C
In a 3-1 week for the Red Storm, Agresti batted .500 with four doubled and his 13th home run of the season. He drew six walks, scored seven times and drove in five runs.
Ryan Piech, Xavier, Jr., RHP
Piech pitch 6.0 innings in the start of game one against Villanova, striking out seven batters, allowing just three hits and an unearned run.
