OKATIE, S.C. –
Xavier used a strong final round on Monday, shooting 1-under as a team to secure the 2026 BIG EAST Women's Golf Championship.  The victory marks the seventh straight conference crown for the Musketeers - building on their record for the most team titles in BIG EAST history.  By virtue of their victory, Xavier earns an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Championship.

The Musketeers finished with a 7-over par total of 871 (301-285-285), 22 shots ahead of runner-up St. John's (304-287-302).  It marked the best team finish at the BIG EAST Championship for the Red Storm since the program's conference title in 2025.  Sunday's second round team score of 287 for St. John's set a new single-round program scoring standard.

Georgetown was third (303-287-306=896), followed by Butler in fourth (308-296-308=912).  Seton Hall was fifth (317-298-316=931), Creighton sixth (318-303-311=932), and Providence finished seventh (342-328-335=1005).

Madison Reemsnyder of Xavier earned medalist honors, using a tournament low 67 during Monday's final round to take the individual title.  After a bogey on the par 4 1st hole, the senior from Canton, Ohio carded six birdies and 11 pars to finish at 5-under for the day.  For the tournament, Reemsnyder improved her score on each day, finishing with a 7-under score of 209 (72-70-67).  A season ago, Reemsnyder was the runner-up at the 2025 BIG EAST Championship.

Xavier's Isabel Brozena was the tournament runner-up, registering four birdies and 10 pars en route to an even-par 72 during Monday's final round.  The sophomore finished with a 2-over par total of 218 (76-70-72).  Teammate Darrelyn Webster rounded out a 1-2-3 finish for the Musketeers, finishing at 4-over par for the championship with a score of 220 (76-72-72).  Four Xavier golfers finished among the top 12 and five among the top 20.

Georgetown's Georgia Ruffalo was fourth (73-70-78=221), while Butler's Treva Dodd (75-73-76=224) and Kelly Wu from St. John's (74-68-82=224) tied for fifth.  The top five finishers at the BIG EAST Women's Golf Championship earn all-tournament honors.
