BIG EAST Attack Player and Freshman of the Week
Bobby O’Grady, Marquette, A (Milton, Mass.)

Continuing to rewrite the history books just 10 games into his collegiate career, Bobby O'Grady set the BIG EAST single-game freshman record with eight goals in a 23-13 win at St. John's. His eight goals tie a NCAA Division I single-game high this season, in addition to tying the BIG EAST individual single-game record in a conference game and setting the Marquette program record. He helped pace an MU offense that set new program records for goals (23), assists (14), points (37), shots (58) and shots on goal (36), with the 23 goals also matching a BIG EAST single-game mark. O'Grady now has 14 goals in two BIG EAST games (15 points) and 34 goals on the season, placing him in a tie for third on MU's single-season list.

BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week
James Reilly, Georgetown, Sr., M (Berwyn, Pa.)
Continuing to provide offensive opportunities for the Hoyas all game long, James Reilly won 17 of 18 faceoffs, including each of his opening 15 faceoffs through three quarters, as No. 2 Georgetown raced out to a 10-2 lead over Providence through 45 minutes. In addition, Reilly collected nine ground balls on the day. Overall, he became just the second Hoya in program history to reach 600 faceoffs wins and is now just 20 away from tying the program record. He is also just four ground balls away from GU’s all-time record in the category. The outstanding performance in the midfield anchored Georgetown to a 15-5 triumph on Saturday.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week

Anchoring the defense in the Pioneers’ second top-20 triumph of the season, Jack Thompson posted 15 saves on 25 shots on goal to lead Denver to a 12-10 road victory over No. 18 Villanova. The junior goalkeeper corralled 10 saves in the opening half to keep the Pioneers within a goal, 7-6, at halftime. Allowing just one goal in the third quarter, Denver jumped out to a 10-7 lead that the Pioneers would not look back on. Overall, it marked his seventh double digit save game of the season and the 18th of his career.
