UConn's Historic Season Ends in Super Regionals

STANFORD, CA. - Connecticut (50-16) had its season come to an end with a 10-5 loss to No. 2 Stanford at Sunken Diamond on Monday afternoon.

The Huskies wrapped up the season winning a program-record 50 games the most-ever for a New England team. 

UConn won both the BIG EAST regular season and tournament titles for the second-straight year. 

The program reached its fourth-straight NCAA Tournament and eighth since 2010. 

UConn advanced to its second-ever Super Regional by winning the College Park Regional. The Huskies captured its first-ever Super Regional victory by taking game one against Stanford, 13-12, on Saturday night.
