Rahulniket Konakanchi, Fr., Butler (Plano, Texas)
Konakanchi went 2-0 this week, winning a pair of matches from the No. 5 position in straight sets. The freshman handled Bellarmine’s Eli Wood (6-4, 6-2) before winning again against Vanderbilt’s Macsen Sisam (7-6, 7-6).
BIG EAST Men’s Doubles Team of the Week
Leon Huck (Sr., Freiburg, Germany) & Pablo Torres Almeida (Fr., Gran Canaria, Spain), DePaul
Huck and Almeida secured the essential doubles’ point in DePaul’s 4-3 victory over Illinois State. Playing from the top spot, the pair defeated ISU’s Arvid Hjalte and Adrian Dibildox, 7-6.
BIG EAST Women’s Singles Player of the Week
Lalita Devarakonda, Gr., Hyderabad, India
Playing from the No. 1 spot, Devarakonda defeated Providence’s Katie Mulvey in straight sets (6-2, 6-1) en route to a 6-1 Red Storm victory. The grad student moves to 7-5 on the season with three weekly accolades to her credit (3/20, 2/13;
as a doubles pair 2/27).

Yuliya Kizelbasheva (Sr., Armavir, Russia) & Lenka Antonijevic (Gr., Kragujevac, Serbia)
DePaul’s top doubles team of Kizelbasheva and Antonijevic overcame Georgetown’s Chloe Benedetti and McHaley Ho, contributing to a 4-2 Blue Demon victory on Saturday.
