BIG EAST Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Ela Platenikova (Jr., Bratislava, Slovakia) & Chloe Lomans (So., Netherlands), UConn
Platenikova and Lomans defeated Seton Hall’s Kirra Farrakhova and Anastasia Sereda, 6-2, on the top court to help secure the essential doubles point as the Huskies edged the Pirates, 4-3.

BIG EAST Men’s Singles Player of the Week
Sebastian Medica, So., DePaul (San Luis Potosi, Mexico)
Medica went 2-0 at No. 2 singles against a pair of BIG EAST opponents as the Blue Demons overcame Creighton and Marquette to finish the regular season undefeated in conference play (6-0). Medica bested Bluejay Mathis Dahler (7-5, 6-3) and Golden Eagle Kristian Blagoev (7-5. 6-2).

Roegner and Perrill went 2-0 against BIG EAST opponents on the top doubles court. The duo defeated Creighton’s Jack McMahon and Lucas Mommessin, 6-3, and DePaul’s Sebastian Medica and Augusto Pardo Cano, 6-3.
