BIG EAST Men’s Tennis Singles Player of the Week
Diogo Marques, Gr., St. John’s (Setubal, Portugal)
Playing from the top spot, Marques defeated two-time All-BIG EAST First Team honoree Stefan Dragovic (Marquette) 6-4, 6-4. The straight-set victory moved Marques to 8-3 on the season and 3-0 in conference play as the Red Storm swept the Golden Eagles, 7-0, on Friday.

BIG EAST Men’s Doubles Team of the Week
Thomas Brennan (Sr., Dublin, Ireland) & Alvaro Huete Vadillo (Sr., Illescas, Spain), Butler
Brennan and Huete Vadillo refused to relinquish a game, defeating Xavier’s Ryan Cahill and Shashank Reddy, 6-0, at the No. 1 doubles spot. The duo earns BIG EAST weekly honors for the third time this season.

BIG EAST Women’s Tennis Singles Player of the Week
Yuliya Kizelbasheva, Sr., DPU
Kizelbasheva earned two straight set victories from the number one singles position as DePaul collected a pair of BIG EAST wins this weekend. The senior defeated Seton Hall’s Oliwia Kempinski (6-3, 6-3) and St. John’s Lalita Devarakonda (6-3, 6-2).

BIG EAST Women’s Doubles Team of the Week
Imani Graham (Jr., St. John’s, Fla.) & Anna Roggenburk (R.S. Jr., Avon Lake, Ohio), Xavier
Graham and Roggenburk clinched the double’s point in Xavier’s 6-1 victory over UConn.  The duo defeated the Huskies’ Aleksandra Karamyshev and Isabel Petri Bere in a 7-6 (3) tiebreaker.
