UConn, Creighton, DePaul, and St. John’s to Represent BIG EAST at ITA Conference Masters

NEW YORK – Members of the UConn, Creighton, DePaul, and St. John’s tennis programs have been selected to represent the BIG EAST at ITA Conference Masters in Rome, Georgia, Nov. 5-8.

2026 First Team All-BIG EAST honoree, Semen Agynskyy (St. John’s), is the conference’s men’s singles representative. Creighton’s Timothée Lustig and Neil Saxer will compete in the men’s doubles draw.

Two-time All-BIG EAST selection, Sasha Stula (DePaul) is the league’s women’s singles representative. UConn’s Chloe Lomans and Ela Platenikova will represent the BIG EAST in doubles play. Both Lomans and Platenikova were 2026 All-Conference selections.

The 2026 ITA Conference Masters Championship will have a draw size of 32 singles players and 32 doubles teams. From this, four players (4) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship (semifinalists). Meanwhile, two doubles teams (2) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship through the Conference Masters (champion & finalist). Each NCAA AQ-eligible, Division I conference will designate one singles player and one doubles team from each gender to participate in the event.

The BIG EAST representatives were selected via a nomination and balloting process where the head coaches could not vote for their own athletes. A small subcommittee of non-involved head coaches certified the votes and ranked any alternate selections as necessary.
